Scholarships for Educational Programs

GNCCARN is offering educational opportunities in rehabilitation nursing to promote an interest in rehabilitation nursing and advance the quality of rehabilitation nursing services. Scholarship money may be approved for GNCCARN members or prospective members (nursing students). A scholarship committee reviews scholarship applications and selects recipients for approved funding. The Board and Education Committee determine allocation of funds based on the budget for each year.

SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

1. The requesting party must be an ARN member and a rehab nurse in any health care setting.

2. Scholarship funds may be approved for ARN supported conferences which include GNCCARN supported conferences.

3. The member must have attended/participated in a GNCCARN activity within the last year.

4. Scholarship money is limited to cost of conference registration.

5. Recipients will be limited to one conference scholarship per year and two in three years to allow assistance to a greater number of members.

6. Recipient will be notified by email prior to the conference registration deadline of approved funding. Recipient will confirm conference attendance prior to registration deadline.

7. Scholarship money is nontransferable.

8. GNCCARN Board and Education Committee reserve the right to determine allocation of funds based on the budget each year.

9. Scholarship offerings for CRRN Review are available only for Registered Nurses.
